This is a weekend workshop, filled with all knowledge related to screenprinting & with natural ink &  the effect it has on the basematerial you use.

Lunch,  nibbles and drinks & all materials  are included for both days

What will we  work with ? 

We will work with  natural inks. Handmade recycled indigo ink, madder ink, osage yellow ink & ricepaste resistpaste. We will explore natural mordants for setting colours, and plant starches for binders, along with showing options of natural dye pigments. You can experiment on paper or textiles.

What will I finish the course with?
The knowledge  to mix your own natural dye printing inks for screen printing onto cloth and paper surfaces. You will go home with a variation of printed textiles and perhaps paper if you wish.


Sat: 11 – 17 h   : Making screens, cutting stencils,  theory about natural dye & inks. We will have some lunch. Start making inks, creating first prints.

Su 11-17h  : Sunday will be all about experimenting with the learnings of saturday.

Provided : White textiles will be there to work on will be provided but you are also welcome to bring your own. Lunch,  nibbles and drinks & textiles to work on.
